Traditional ulcer medications suppress stomach acid which helps to alleviate symptoms but does nothing to fix the problem. Suppression of stomach acid can lead to other gastrointestinal issues. Stomach acid helps to break down food and prevents parasites and bacteria from being able to reach the small intestine by killing them. This formula is rich in mucopolysaccharides which creates a protective slime barrier coating the stomach and small intestines protecting them from the damaging effects of stomach acid.
